Birthday's Orchid

Orchid, or local people in Indonesia call it Anggrek and this one we call Anggrek Bulan. This is a birthday gift (2007) from a friend. Thanks friend, it’s really nice one.

Struggling Roses

Visiting my hometown in Padang, West Sumatra. Bukittinggi (=high-mountain), I saw these small roses in a big leave tree. I amazed how these roses struggled to show how beautiful there were.

Living in Harmony

Flowers among the passion fruit plantation in West Sumatra, Indonesia. I and my family went to the plantation and I learned from a nature life how they could live together in harmony. It's really amazing.

Grandson's Orchids

When I visited my sister’s grandson in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, I saw a lot of orchids at his home. So nice and beautiful, so I took this opportunity to paint one.

Christmas Time

This Kastuba plant which I saw in Puncak, West Java, Indonesia that reminding me and everybody that Christmas was near. I love the combination of colors so specific that representing the colors of Christmas, green and red

My First Painting

It was in April 2005. I was so excited that I finally could paint something. It was amazing and interesting knowing that I could do something that I never did before. Every time I saw a painting I always could not imagine how could someone do that and when could I do that? Now, I believe that I could do that as long as I would like to try it. So I encourage every body to also do whatever you want to do even though you never did it before.

Childhood

The idea of this painting arose when I remembered my hometown in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Every time I saw swans swam at the small river which I could saw from my house back door, I was so happy and always remembered that. The environment was so clear and clean and I remembered everybody there was so friendly. I really miss that.
